All choristers automatically receive a bursary to help with their education at The King's School during their time as a chorister.

All choristers are boarders at The King's School.
The King's School offers bursaries of at least one-third fees to former choristers who choose to continue their education in the Senior School on leaving the choir, and who are prepared to maintain a continuing musical commitment.
Future Voice Trials
The next voice trials will be held on the first Saturday in February 2009 (for boys over 8 by September 2009).
Intending applicants and their parents are invited to an informal pre-audition.
A short-list is then drawn up before Voice Trial Day. We are looking for a general alertness, a bright, intelligent attitude and signs of musical potential.
Formal voice training is not a pre-requisite. On the day, the tests include ear tests, voice tests, reading and academic tests and, if applicable, instrumental tests.
