"The history of the King's School is intrinsically linked with that of Ely Cathedral. More than that, the School lies in the shadow
of the Cathedral both literally and spiritually and the culture and ethos of the School are profoundly affected by the Christian
values that underpin our daily lives.
The choristers of Ely Cathedral are all boarding pupils in our Junior School. They receive a first class musical education and
learn to manage their time and prioritise commitments in a way that few adults could match. Their almost daily contribution to the
musical life of the Cathedral enriches their own lives and those of all members of the worshipping community. The Ely Cathedral
Trust Music Appeal has the wholehearted support of the King's School".
