The Almonry
The Almonry Restaurant is located within the medieval buildings just a short walk from the Cathedral.
Hospitality has been offered here since medieval times.
Today the tradition is continued at this thriving restaurant, where food of the highest quality is served, using fresh local produce.
The restaurant is situated in The Almonry’s 12th Century vaulted undercroft.
An ideal venue for Meetings, Seminars, Wedding Receptions or any other event where hospitality is important. Smaller groups may prefer the privacy and elegance of the Blue Room.
Capacity: Undercroft 80 (in two areas: larger 60, smaller 20) Blue Room 22 - Both areas may be used at the same time if group numbers are large.
The Almonry Restaurant Menu Selection
The following menus are available for receptions and private dinner parties for over 20 people. The Vaulted Undercroft can seat up to 60 with additional space for a further 30 in the second part.
We use fresh local produce in the preparation of your menu choice. We stock an extensive range of wines, and there is a bar available with drinks served at bar prices.
All our prices are subject to VAT and are valid for 3 months from the date of issue. We are licensed for entertainment.
